Chronic Back Pain? Help is at Hand.Spinalweek1

As part of Spinal Health Week 2017 (22-28 May), local Chiropractors and Physiotherapists are raising awareness of chronic lower back pain and encouraging Australians to seek help.

Chronic back pain is a global and national issue. In Australia, it is estimated that one in six will suffer from the physical and psychological effects of chronic back issues – that’s an estimated 3.7 million people. The Australian Institute of Health and Welfare defines chronic back pain as a health condition that lasts for three months or longer.

If you or anyone you know is affected by chronic back pain, the good news is that you don’t need to suffer in silence. You can visit us to find out how Chiropractic and Physiotherapy care can help.

At Gladesville Healthcare, we are encouraging our patients and the Gladesville community to think about chronic back pain and take steps to improve it.

In addition to our hands-on therapy care, simple measures such as incorporating 20-30 minutes of walking into your daily routine can improve chronic back pain symptoms. Walking keeps the spine active and mobile while also helping to relive strain on the spine.

During Spinal Health Week, make an appointment at Gladesville Healthcare to see our Chiropractor Marcus and speak to him about chronic back pain and preventative measures. You can also visit or to find out more about chronic back pain and chiropractic care.
